RV Features
In our “on again, off again”, “do we want an RV or a 4wd and caravan?” dilemma, we are back to the RV side of the cycle!
(After “trying on for size” the idea of a big 4wd and an offroad caravan, we have realised that we really prefer a big RV, with a covered trailer and 4wd on the back.)
And this is what we would like in an RV.
Must have
- full queen size bed
- 3 x bunks
- bathroom, shwr, toilet
- able to tow trailer suitable for 4wd
- air cond and heating
- generator, inverter
- at least one anchor point for a child restraint
Preferable
- separate black, grey & fresh / drinking water tanks
- enclosed trailer suitable for 4wd
- bike rack / provision for securing bikes in trailer
- levelling system
- reversing camera
- flush toilet
- synchromesh gearbox
- tinted windows
- space & power capacity for a PC
- under-bed storage
- LPG
- passenger seats that double as living area seating
Nice to have
- full enclosed annex *
- sat/nav system
- satellite internet *
- bbq
- alarm system
- solar panels
- small or medium 4wd *
- looks kind of ‘modernish’!
* will add ourselves if it doesn’t have it
